Halton

The Clients bought this 1970’s house near Wendover and wished to explore creating a larger kitchen and central living space along with a playroom/snug for their young children. We reorganised the existing small kitchen and dining spaces along with an external utility room. and absorbing a poorly used external patio to create a new warm and brightly lit kitchen and dining space. A new play space/snug is linked and to one side through glazed doors. A new utility room has been added by taking space from a poorly used large garage. Large sliding doors open the space to the garden for summer living and along with a large skylight provide daylight deep into the house. A new larder and oriel seating window add special features to the space.

Replacing a small dormer window to the front with a new wider and vaulted dormer with additional glazing to the apex transformed the first floor main bedroom.
