Naphill

The Clients had built a new Passivhous several years earlier and wanted to extend the existing kitchen to create a new kitchen/dining and living space that opened out onto the much loved rear garden.

Several designs were explored and an extension which was fully glazed out onto the garden with a large skylight at the rear to provide daylight into the redesigned kitchen. A green gull wing edged roof was chosen, clad in black timber to match the rest of the house. Built to Passivhous standards including the triple glazed skylight and the sliding rear doors, the space has become the main living space of the family.
